How to request helpfor neighbors
Dundee and surrounding communities
A neighborly handAround Dundee
The Mayor Joe Garrison Foundation helps people close to home who need a practical hand. That can mean rent, food, a cleaned-up yard, paint on a house, or help finding a local church.
Practical work for a real need
We are a small foundation. The help is the kind a neighbor can understand: a bill, a meal, a yard, a paintbrush, or a church to visit.
Help with rent
A hand toward rent when a household nearby is in a tight spot.
Food
Groceries or a meal for neighbors who are running short.
House or yard cleanup
Practical cleanup when the house or the yard has gotten ahead of someone.
Painting
Help painting a house that needs a fresh coat and a few extra hands.
Finding a church
If you want a local church, we will help you look. We will not push.
Other hands-on help
If the need is local and practical, ask. We will tell you plainly what we can do.
Who we are
A Dundee foundation for neighbors here
The Mayor Joe Garrison Foundation Inc. is a Florida nonprofit in good standing, based in Dundee and established in 2026. Our work stays with neighbors in Dundee and surrounding communities in Polk County, Florida.
The greens and citrus gold on this site follow the civic colors neighbors already know from Dundee. We are our own organization. We are not the Town of Dundee and we do not handle town business.
